1923年郭鹤年出生于此。
1935年郭钦鉴开设东升号分行，经营冷藏食品、杂货生意。
1940年东升号分行结束营业，中国银行购入。
1942年日军入侵新山，占据本建筑作为华侨协会会所
1948年8月10日，新山中华公会以三万元向中国银行购置，进行整修后迁入办公。
1948年新山中华商会迁入，与新山中华公会共用会所。
1964年新山中华公会发动筹款，将本建筑重新整修并增高为四层楼建筑。
1966年6月18日，苏丹依斯迈为新山中华公会会所主持开幕。
1998年，新山中华工商总会迁出。
2004年，新山中华公会迁入新会所，旧会所经议决改为文物馆之用途。
2009年10月3日，新山华族历史文物馆正式开幕。

1935, Kuok Keng Kang established a branch of Tong Seng & Co to deal in frozen food and sundry goods.
1940, the branch of Tong Seng & Co was wound up and the building was acquired by the Bank Of China.
1942, Johor Bahru was occupied by the Japanese army and the premises of Johor Bahru Chinese Association was turned into office of the Overseas Chinese Association.
10 August 1948, Johor Bahru Chinese Association purchased the building from the Bank of China for $30,000, and used it as its office after renovation.
1948, Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce move in and shared the premises with Johor Bahru Chinese Association
1964, Johor Bahru Chinese Association raised funds to renovate the building and raise it to a four-storey building.
18 June 1966, the building of Johor Bahru Chinese Association was officially opened by Sultan Ismail.
1998, Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Industry and Commerce moved out of the building.
2004, Johor Bahru Chinese Association was relocated to a new building and the old premises was converted to become a cultural heritage museum.
3 October 2009, Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum was officially opened.

1948 Dewan Peniagaan TiongHoa Johor Bahru berpindah masuk, berkongsi menggunakan pejabatnya bersama Persekutuan Tiong Hua Johor Baru.
1964 Persekutuan Tiong Hua Johor Baru mengumpulkan derma, lalu memperbaikkan lagi bangunannya dan meninggikannya menjadi empat tingkat.
18hb Jun, 1966 Yang Mulia Sultan Ismail merasmikan bangunan Persekutuan Tiong Hua Johor Baru.
1998 Dewan Peniagaandan perindustrianTiongHoa Johor Bahru berpindah keluar dan membeli pejabat baru di Taman Tasik.
2004 Persekutuan Tiong Hua Johor Baru berpindah ke bangunan baru, bangunan lama ini diubahkan menjadi bangunan muzium.
3hb Oktober 2009 Muzium Warisan Tiong Hua Johor Bahru dirasmikan.

汉振的素描作品着重于古迹的保存与传承，接着透过简洁的黑白线条将其呈现在作品中，并成为游客，本地人以及所有爱着艺术与文化遗产的任何人的纪念品。目前，他的画作皆收入在7本名为“Sketches By Hanzhen”的作品集中。

INTRODUCTION – HANZHEN YAP
Instants of the world around us, captured through the astute eye of savant artist, Hanzhen Yap. His works are meticulous and filled with details. He is 20 years old and his stamina plus persistence bring hope for the autistic community.
Hanzhen’s works have been exhibited in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Japan and South Korea. Notable organisations such as SHELL Malaysia, Doubletree Hilton Hotel, Ramada & Ramada Encore Hotels and the Singapore High Commission in KL are part of his client list.
Hanzhen’s sketches consistently tend towards the themes of sustainability and heritage conservation. They are popularly reproduced as stark black and white messages on merchandises sold locally: the perfect souvenir for tourist, locals and anyone who shares the love for art + heritage.
Multi-talented, Hanzhen also loves to play the piano. He obtained his ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano in 2016. Hanzhen has published seven sketch books in a series called “Sketches By Hanzhen”, currently available in MPH and leading bookstores nationwide.
